As my semester comes to a close, I am quickly finishing assignment after assignment. Can’t believe that next week is finals. Not sure how I feel about that. Any who, I have officially finished my website. Pretty excited about it. I created this website all by myself. Pretty proud about that. If you click on the photo above, it will take you directly to my website. If that does not work, just click here.
Apologies for the lack of posting. Being a full time student and employee means very little time for anything unrelated to school or work. Any who, exciting things are happening. As of next semester, I will be working on my senior show proposal and sample work. (Wish me luck, haha) If all goes well on that front, this kid right here will be in her last semester of UNG! Excitement and fear all at once!
Now, that is a little bit away. Upcoming news for this semester. Finishing classes means a lot less stress. However, it also means I will have created my very own website (mostly from scratch). That’s pretty exciting. So, keep an eye out for the website. Until then..
My apologies for not posting anything in a while. It’s been a busy last few months with school and work. Last Saturday, I reconnected with Ashley to create a boudoir shoot for her future hubby, Jimmy. Always a blast being able to work with her. We worked into the early hours, playing with new lighting, backgrounds and outfits to help give her future hubby the best gift ever. I can’t wait for their wedding. ONE MORE WEEK!
Most recently, I decided to explore some alternative media for my bachelor’s. I chose to do some work in the field of printmaking. In my second semester of printmaking, I decided to explore the medium for some possibilities for my senior show. The subject matter hit a little closer to home. So, without revealing too much, here is a glimpse. Ideas, thoughts, comments, criticism. Anything is welcome.
After all the shenanigans with being a full time student and a full time employee, I get a little time to rest and relax from the school work. What a better way to get into a relaxed mood for winter break than doing a photo shoot. My friend, Jessie, and I got together the other day to do a fun and sexy night shoot. Getting to play with an amazing location and some interesting lighting, we got some amazing images. Tell me what you think!
What better way to get into the Halloween spirit then to do a quick sugar skull photo shoot? And who could ask for a better and quite gorgeous model than my dearest Courtney. This gorgeous lady put on her finest sugar skull make-up and spice to create this beauty. Happy Halloween!
After a late night of messing with several lamp, rolls of film, and three exhausted individuals, we finally got something done. I hope. Venturing back into 35 mm film photography means I’m relearning the basic steps, formulas and the technical shenanigans I’ve come to break over the years. Woot. So, this latest project was focused on motion and playing with shutter speeds. I decided that I would do a couple digital to hopefully find something decent. Well, tell me what you think!
